Woman killed when U-Haul careens into Arby's

Two others injured
QUEENS Authorities say the van collided with another vehicle and crashed into the front of the eatery at 175-14 Horace Harding Expressway just after 1 p.m.

Three people inside the restaurant were hurt.

The most seriously injured person, a 67-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at New York Hospital Center of Queens. She had been eating with her husband when the incident happened, and she was reportedly pinned by the van.

At least two others had injuries, one of which was serious.

The van first struck Charlie Klingenberger's van as he pulled into the Arby's parking lot.

"The guy hit me in the rear bumper and swerved into a crowd of people," he said. "There's people hurt bad [on the sidewalk]."

The driver has been arrested, charged with marijuana possession. He could face additional charges.
