Vegas Fire; Questions about Meningitis Deaths

Behind The News
New York-WABC, January 24, 2008 We'll also have the latest on the trial of three New York City police detectives, accused in the shooting death of Sean Bell in November, 2006. Today they asked for a waiver to their right to a jury trial. There is some protest - but clearly the cops think they have a better chance of convincing a judge of their innocence than a jury.

We'll also preview tomorrow's Democratic Party primary in South Carolina.

And it's a question lots of people are asking -- how is it that there are suddenly two deaths from Meningitis in our area -- in two days, and both at schools?

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Lee Goldberg's weekend AccuWeather forecast and Scott Clark with the night's sports. I hope you can join Liz Cho and me, tonight at 11, right after 20/20.
