Two men have been arrested after police say they found 234 marijuana plants in the basement of their Long Island home. 26-year-old Jason Schall and 25-year-old William Zuckerman have been charged with second degree criminal possession of marijuana and other charges.

Police say they found 234 marijuana plants in the basement of the men's Holbrook home. Police also found high intensity growing lights, water circulation pumps, fertilizers, two pounds of packaged marijuana, hypodermic needles, and a semiautomatic rifle.

The men were scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip.

It could not immediately be determined if they had legal representation.
