Authorities say a body found near an empty boat by the Delaware Bay is one of three men who went missing after a weekend goose hunting trip. The body was identified as Jan Toryfter of Princeton. Still missing are Jozef Karamuz and Zdzislaw Piorkowski, both of Pennsylvania.

State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones says a Coast Guard helicopter spotted an overturned boat on land with some gear underneath it at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday.

State Police sent a helicopter with a thermal imaging camera onboard that located the body about 200 yards from the boat in Fairfield Township.

Most of the marsh where the hunters were is covered in icy mud.

"It's cold, it's windy, it's hard on the body," said one searcher.

The search was called off after 3 p.m. on Monday.
