Toy fair takes tech twist

NEW YORK That seems to be one message at this year's American International Toy Fair in New York City, which opened Sunday in the Javits Center.

Some of this year's highlights include Beanie Baby 2.0, an update to the line of plush animal toys that features access to Beanie Land, where children can play and interact online.

Another gizmo in the fair is the Spykee robot. It changes TV channels, can hook up to your iPod and has a Web-enabled video camera.

More than 1,200 toy manufacturers, distributors and importers from 94 countries are expected to be at this year's toy fair. It lasts through Wednesday.
