Man hit by train causing delays

New York The man, in his 50s, was pronounced dead at Central Park - 110th Street Station. He was struck by a Northbound 2 train entering the station.

Due to the death, subway service was delayed:

No. 2 train service is running in both directions on the No. 5 line between the Nevins Street Station and the 149th Street-Grand Concourse Station. There is no No. 3 train service in both directions between the 96th Street Station and the Harlem-148th Street Station.

As an alternate, customers are advised to use nearby A, B, C and D trains for service in the affected area. Please expect delays in No. 2 and No. 3 train service at this time.
