Two injured in small plane crash in NJ

NEW JERSEY The small plane reportedly lost power after taking off from Runway 26 at the Princeton Airport just before noon.

The plane crashed in the swampy woods near Route 206, about 100 yards off the end of the runway.

The pilot and a passenger, a husband and wife sustained minor injuries and were taken out of the woods on backboards.

The man sustained a leg injury, while the wife walked away from the crash.

They were taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital.

The experimental plane, a VANS RV9-A, was a total loss.

It was registered to Allan G. Christer of East 38th Street, New York City.
