Police do not know why the woman jumped from the window, but do not believe it was a suicide attempt.
A Legal Aid attorney entered a not guilty plea to murder charges on her behalf earlier this week. Brewer's court case was adjourned until March 7.

Brewer is still recovering from injuries she suffered when she
jumped from a second-floor apartment in New Cassel last Sunday
morning after calling 911 to report she had killed her three
children, ages 6, 5 and 18 months.
