Elderly Rabbi goes missing

In New Jersey -- police are searching for an elderly Rabbi. Rabbi Zev Segal of Manhattan is 91-years-old.

Eyewitness News is told he vanished after visiting his son at Jersey city radio station, WFMU yesterday morning.

He left there just after 8:00 a.m. celebrating the 25th anniversary of the show.

At the time of his disappearance, Segal was wearing a gray suit with black pants and was driving a dark green Mercury Marquis with New York license plate ALT-3961.

Brooklyn's Sen. Kruger, a frequent guest on Nachum Segal's show, urged the public to be on the alert for the missing senior.

The senator is offering a $2,500 reward for substantive information leading to the senior's discovery. Anyone with information should call the special hotline number at 917-204-6415.

Sen. Kruger is also urging the community to add to the reward offer.
