There are more than a dozen new shows on the boards with something for everybody. Spring marks the return of traditional musicals like the revivals of "Gypsy" and "South Pacific." For a musical experience with an edge there's "Passing Strange" "In the Heights" and from the John Waters film, "Cry Baby."
Dramas are well represented this spring with the first all African- American cast of "Cat in a Hot Tin Roof," and Patrick Stewart starring in "Macbeth." There's comedy too and innovative staging of some Broadway classics.
We take you to rehearsals, go behind-the-scenes and talk to this season's brightest stars. We'll also follow a Broadway "dresser," check out one of the Great White Way's most unique dressing rooms and learn how a choreographer works with his dancers.
Plus, the latest news on cast changes, comings and goings, and all the Broadway buzz.
