Surgery for acid reflux?

Many patients are going under the knife for heartburn help.Severe acid reflux sufferers can see an up 95 percent decrease in symptoms after anti-reflux surgery, according to the first study to look at the effectiveness of the procedure.

But University of Washington researchers note that in the many cases, while symptoms did improve, 41 percent of patients still took antacids.
