Minor delays on NJ Transit & Amtrak

Signal problem to blame for morning mess

NJ Transit and Amtrak trains are experiencing minor delays after this mornings signal problem has been corrected.NJ Transit was reporting delays of up to 60 minutes in both directions on all Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast and Raritan Valley trains through Newark Penn Station at the rush of the morning commute. Since the issue had been fixed, the delays are only at 15 minutes.

Ths eignal problems were just south of the station itself.

NJT, Academy and Suburban buses were cross honoring tickets.
