Police on Long Island are asking for the public's help in finding three men and a woman who shoplifted 37 rings, worth more than $100,000, from a jewelry store. Some of the thieves distracted store workers while the others removed the merchandise from a display counter at Markens Jewelry at the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream on Monday night.

Nassau County police said Tuesday that the incident was captured on store surveillance cameras.

They asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
