Eyewitness News is told the rig crashed just south of Interstate 287 and caught fire just after 3:30 a.m. this morning.
The fire closed the southbound lanes, while the cargo -- large plastic water bottles -- scattered onto the northbound lanes.
One southbound lane opened after nearly three hours, while the northbound lanes remained closed for water bottle removal.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
