Police executed a search warrant on March 3 and seized his computer. They reportedly performed a forensic analysis and found the child pornography. Gallagher surrendered to police at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the 7th Precinct.
Gallagher is charged with one count of possession of sexual performance by a child. He resigned prior to being arrested.
