The group's annual survey finds the biggest improvements on the "L" and "7." Straphangers staff attorney Gene Russianoff says the group wants to "congratulate" NYC transit for assigning extra cleaners and new managers on those lines.
The campaign says the "E" and "Q" lines are the dirtiest.
The survey, which covers 22 lines, focuses on the cleanliness of floors and seats. The level of litter isn't rated.
