On February 29, Gonzalez is accused of slashing two employees of an East Village Key Food, located on 4th Street and Avenue A.
Twenty-four year-old Tina Negro suffered a stab wound to the torso and was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital, where she later died.
A second woman, reportedly 27 years old, was slashed in her torso and leg.
The suspect then fled the scene.
