Firefighters injured battling blaze

At least three firefighters were injured in an apartment fire in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn Wednesday.According to fire officials, the fire broke out on the sixth floor of Langston Hughes Houses at 301 Sutter Avenue just before 2 p.m.

At least three firefighters were injured and were taken to the hospital.

They reportedly sustained minor burns that was not life-threatening.

The Langston Hughes Apartments consist of three, 22-story buildings with 508 apartments housing some 1,357 residents.
