Parents, tread lightly with rock-a-bye baby. You could end up keeping your child awake later in life.Researchers from the University on Montreal found babies whose mothers stayed with them at bedtime were more than twice as likely to have trouble falling asleep when they were in preschool.

Experts recommend that if your child wakes up, comfort them, but don't stay with them until they fall asleep again.
