Funeral held for murdered SI teen

Ex-boyfriend charged with murder
STATEN ISLAND The teen was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Paolino.

Mourners filled St. Clare's Church in Great Kills to pay their respects.

Tush vanished from her job at the mall two days after her family says she broke up with Paolino.

Paolino is now charged with her murder. He is being held on $1 million bail.

Authorities say the 19-year-old killed Tush last week and left her body in a shallow grave in the New Jersey Pine Barrens.

The body was reportedly found by hikers, who discovered the freshly-dug grave last Thursday morning and alerted the authorities.

"They found my baby," a tearful Dina Tush said. "It was too late. But at least I have her and I know what happened to her and I'm not wondering that I can't find her. You know what that means. Because not knowing is worse."

In the days before her disappearance, Tush reportedly came home with bruises on her face. Family members say she said those bruises came at the hands of Paulino.
