Person killed by LIRR train in Queens

There were 90 minute delays as result of accident

The Long Island Rail Road says a person has been killed by a train in Queens.LIRR spokesman Susan McGowan says service has been restored on the Port Washington line. There had been delays of up to 90 minutes after the incident in Bayside.

Passengers on the affected train were taken back to the Woodside station. LIRR tickets were honored on the subways.

Details on the fatality have not been determined.
