Burlington County authorities have released the name of a gas station attendant who was gunned down during a robbery. Abdur Rahman was 50 years old. He came to the U.S. in 1990 and his family lives in Bangladesh.

A customer at U.S. Gas in Westampton called 911 around 11:22 p.m. Monday after seeing the man lying on the ground. The attendant had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was dead when authorities arrived.

Authorities say security cameras were not working.

Other stations on the same stretch of Route 541 have reported robberies in the last few months.
