A third-alarm fire burned through three homes in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Tuesday morning. Authorities say the fire broke out in the attic of a house on Anna Street just after 9 a.m. The flames quickly spread to adjoining homes on both sides.

It took about an hour to put out the flames.
