Man accused of abusing kids in bathrooms

BROOKLYN Authorities say the first attack happened Thursday afternoon inside Gravesend Park. Polices believe 61-year-old Michael Martin, of Stamford, followed an 8-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy into the public restroom and sexually assaulted both of them.

Then, just two hours later, Martin is said to have attacked another 8-year-old girl inside a bathroom at a playground in the Kensington section.

In both cases, the kids started to cry and the suspect took off.

The three victims were removed to area hospitals as a precaution and are in stable condition.

Martin is charged with criminal sex act, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
