Study: Scalp, neck melanoma deadlier

There is frightening new information about melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer.A study from the University of North Carolina shows that melanoma is twice as deadly when it appears on the scalp or neck than on other parts of the body.

Researchers say part of the reason is that diagnosis can be delayed because those areas may be obscured by hair on the scalp.
