Alleged Holocaust vandal arrested

BRENTWOOD Police say 30-year-old Paul Brajuha, of 321 Gray Street in Brentwood, gained unauthorized access to the Holocaust display, located on the Grant Campus, and removed several items sometime Tuesday evening.

The initial investigation has determined that photos and other items were taken from the location and damaged. The display appeared to have been targeted, as there were several other displays in the immediate area that were untouched.

The arrest was the result of an intensive investigation by detectives from the Hate Crimes Unit, which included the use of forensic science.

Brajuha is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was released on bail.
