Police in Edison, New Jersey are urging women to lock up before they go to sleep. They say a 39-year old woman woke up to find a naked intruder in her bed touching her inner thigh early Thursday morning.

According to police he fled -- leaving his pants behind. A search of the woman's condominium complex turned up no clues, officials.

Investigators believe he entered the home through an unlocked sliding door.

"Prior to going to bed, you want to secure all your windows and doors - just to keep people like this out of your residence," says Lt. Joseph Shannon, of the Edison Police Department.

Police are also advising residents to use common sense and remember to keep blinds and curtains drawn at night.
