NJ Transit facing residual delays

SECAUCUS Around 7:30 a.m. the disabled equipment was removed from the tunnel between NJ & NY and trains are running again.

But NJ Transit spokesman Dan Stessel says riders will likely face residual delays throughout the morning rush.

All NJ Transit trains in and out of New York City were operating up to 30 minutes behind schedule. That left only one track open in the tunnel.

NJ TRANSIT buses and light rail lines are operating on or close to schedule.
