He was reportedly rushed to Elmhust Medical Center in critical condition. Two others in the car, the 32-year-old driver and 31-year-old passenger, were taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Initial reports were that the driver of the striking car suffered a medical condition before the crash.
The car stayed at the scene and was being examined by detectives.
