Rockland bus drivers reach deal

ROCKLAND COUNTY A strike 10 days ago left thousands of Rockland County commuters scrambling for a way to get to work.

On Monday, members of the Local 225 Transport Workers Union overwhelmingly voted in favor of the same contract that they turned down May 22.

Under the terms of the deal, they'll get a 12.5 percent pay raise over the next three years. They'll also get a boost in vacation pay, overtime, and matching funds for their 401K.
