NJ students suspended for racy photos

Seven Pascack Valley High School freshmen are suspended from school for the rest of the year after allegedly distributing racy photos of middle school girls on cell phones and laptops. Superintendent Benedict Tantillo III tells The Record of Bergen County more than 20 girls who are now in ninth grade were in the photos. Some pictures appeared to have been taken two or three years ago. Tantillo says the girls were seen from the waist up in various states of undress, typically with bare breasts.

A student apparently came across the photos on a school-issued laptop and reported the incident to faculty who then alerted Hillsdale police.

Police are letting the school deal with the consequences for the ninth grade boys.

As a result, the school gave the boys 2 days to delete the photos from their cell phones and iPods and suspended them.
