Police say Sunshine, who had been drinking on Monday night with some friends, was found dead in his Foster house dorm room at Northwestern on Tuesday morning.
According to a statement from a local police department, the freshman was fine when friends had checked on him during the night. But when a student checked on him around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, he was unresponsive.
The local police department along with University police are investigating the case.
Meanwhile, students prepare for a Thursday night vigil, set for 9:30 p.m., in honor of Sunshine.
