Kevin Millwood held the New York Mets to five hits over six innings today to earn his first road win since last Father's Day and the Texas Rangers held on for an 8-7 victory in the first game of a double header on Sunday. Ramon Vazquez hit a two-run homer and had four RBIs for the Rangers, who also got home runs from Ian Kinsler and Milton Bradley.

Texas evened up the three-game series and may have increased the possibility Mets manager Willie Randolph will lose his job before the team boards a plane for California on Sunday night.
