At least one person is under arrest for a drive-by shooting on Long island Sunday night. Police arrested 16-year-old Amir Samuel Monday morning.

Nassau County police say that Samuel tried to crash a private graduation party at 148 Hossman Avenue in Elmont around 11 p.m.

When he was turned away, they say he fired several shots at a group of people from a passing car.

Police say three men and a woman were hit. All suffered injuries to their lower legs and feet.

Two of the injured were taken to Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola.

Police are looking into any connections between the victims and those who shot at them from the car.
