Documents detail videotaped assault

Documents released in Danbury Superior Court graphically describe the videotaped assault of a Newtown High School student that ended up on the Internet.The video of the assault at the school has led to the arrests of seven students.

The YouTube video shows a victim bound to a chair in plastic wrapping tape, completely covered except for his head. One captor writes the word "snitch" across his forehead. Then two youths put him in a headlock while one of them draws a "Hitler mustache" on his upper lip.

Police say the investigation began in March when they got complaint about a picture of the assault posted on the social networking Web site, Facebook.com.

The suspects face charges of third-degree assault, unlawful restraint and reckless endangerment.
