Sentencing day in Connecticut kidnapping

HARTFORD Adam Gault of West Hartford appeared in Hartford Superior Court on Friday. The two women that lived with Gault, Kimberly Cray and Ann Murphy, each received three years in prison for their respective roles.

Authorities say the girl was 14 when she ran away from her Bloomfield home in 2006 and moved in with Gault. Police officers found her hiding in a storage closet while searching the house in June 2007.

The 42-year-old Gault pleaded guilty to kidnapping and sexual assault charges in March. Some of the charges in plea bargain involved another Connecticut teenager who made similar allegations against Gault.
