Arrest made in fatal hit-and-run

EAST FLATBUSH Eyewitness News has learned Naquan Mandry, of Brooklyn has been arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident. Police say the 19-year-old Mandry, drove the car that killed the boy.

The accident happened at 1:24 a.m. Saturday on East 42nd Street in East Flatbush.

Police received a call of a child had been struck. That boy, Rondell Grant Jr., police say had been hit by one of three cars that fled the scene.

The boy was taken to Kings County Hospital where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing.
