A New Jersey scuba diver is recovering following a rescue by a Coast Guard helicopter after she lost consciousness diving more than 30 miles off Barnegat Light. The Coast Guard says it was called Saturday afternoon by the Brielle-based diving boat Gypsy Blood.

The boat had reported that Francine Sinotski had surfaced and was initially unconscious.

The 32-year-old woman from Highland Park was flown to the mainland, where a medical helicopter took her to a hospital.
