Police say the suspect walked up behind the 40-year-old victim as she unlocked the door to her East Flatbush, Brooklyn apartment.
The suspect put a knife to her back, threatened her and then forced her into the house, where he sexually assaulted her, according to authorities.
The man is described as approximately 20 years old, about 5-foot-9 and about 210 pounds.
