Suspect arrested after L.I. barricade

A man wanted by the U.S. Marshals for kidnapping and a carjacking has been arrested after barricading himself in his Brentwood home, according to police. The agents arrived at the house on Pear Street at around 9 a.m.

They say they intended to arrest the man, wanted for a kidnapping and carjacking, among other crimes.

Police say the suspect barricaded himself in the house, holding up in the bathroom.

Authorities set up a perimeter around the house.
