Dark Knight still box office king

"The Dark Knight" ruled the box office for the fourth straight weekend, taking in $26.1 million to raise the Batman sequel's domestic gross to $441.6 million, No. 3 on the all-time revenue charts. The pot-head comedy "Pineapple Express" opened at No. 2 with $23.2 million.

The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Media By Numbers LLC:
