A quick-thinking state trooper manages to stop a vehicle driven by a motorist in diabetic shock on the Garden State Parkway. Trooper Sean Boag was on patrol yesterday morning when, at about 7:30 a.m., he responded to reports of an erratic driver weaving from side-to-side and hitting other vehicles.

A state police spokesman says Boag found the vehicle on the parkway near Woodbridge and noticed the driver was slumped over the wheel while the car was in motion.

Boag rushed ahead and used his patrol car to block the vehicle and bring it to a stop.

The trooper suffered minor injuries.

But further details on the driver's condition weren't disclosed.
