LOS ANGELES Adler appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday
morning with a friend and therapist. A judge ordered him to remain
in rehab while he awaits a preliminary hearing on a felony charge
of drug possession and a misdemeanor count of being under the
influence of drugs.
Los Angeles police arrested him last month and he was freed on
$10,000 bail.
Adler's attorney says the 43-year-old musician's recovery is
being monitored by celebrity rehab specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Adler has a long history of drug use. He performed on the early
Guns N' Roses albums but was later fired.
