Long Island magician pleads not guilty

NEW YORK Robert Infantino, 50, of Central Islip is jailed in lieu of $150,000 cash bail or $300,000 bond.

Infantino is charged with 64 counts of possessing child porn and two charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child. Prosecutors say hundreds of images were recovered from Infantino's computer hard drive, which was seized by police during a search warrant executed at his residence. He is also charged with 12 counts of unlawful surveillance in the second degree for the alleged surreptitious videotaping of six female victims.

Infantino is the owner of Infantino Productions, a photography business, and is also known as Bob Infantino, "Long Island's Favorite Magician."

District Attorney Thomas Spota said investigators are continuing to search Infantino's computer for more images. If convicted of all charges, Infantino faces a maximum of 10 to 20 years in state prison.
