13-year-old boy fatally shot in Harlem

Police are investigating a shooting in Harlem that left a 13-year-old boy dead and two other teens with injuries. The shooting happened at 7:30 Friday night in front of 108 West 144th Street.

Investigators said an argument among teenagers escalated into violence. One of them pulled a gun and started shooting.

Police found the 13-year-old,Scott Scotty of Manhattan, and another teen laying on the sidewalk.

Scotty was shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The second victim, a 16-year-old boy, suffered a graze wound to his neck.

He was listed in stable condition at the hospital.

Investigators later learned that an 18-year-old young man was driven to the hospital. He had suffered gunshot wounds to the leg. He was also listed in stable condition.

Witnesses gave police information about the shooter, but no arrests have been made so far.
