Schorr wouldn't reveal the screening's contents, but Alan Helfman, vice president of a Chrysler dealership in Houston, says he was told the event will show off Chrysler's next-generation line of plug-in electric cars.
The automaker has previously announced plans to get into the electric car business and has been demonstrating plug-in hybrid prototypes to some dealers.
Earlier this week, General Motors Corp. unveiled its own plug-in hybrid, the Volt, which it expects to launch by late 2010.
