NEW YORK ECOFEST is dedicated to educating the public about practical solutions, products and practices by presenting exciting exhibits, environmental groups, inventions of environmental technologies, entertainment, and the interesting and informative ECOFEST Environmental Conference with leaders in the field! There is something for everyone in the family: The SEOTO (Sources of Energy Other Than Oil) Display with the latest vehicles that use Clean Technology. The display includes hot solar racers, hybrids, electric, methanol, ethanol and "veggie cars" that run on grease, as well as New York City and the latest fuel cell vehicles including Hybrid taxi. Pedi cabs, bicycles and rollerblade performances are also scheduled.
Pet Care and Adoption – New York City ASPCA will be present with their adoption van, with adorable animals that need homes, and pet care tips for pet owners and info on urban animal issues. If you're thinking about a pet, this is the place.
ECO-FASHION SHOW A highlight of ECOFEST, presenting fashions of all eco friendly materials that are available on the market now. We show ecofriendly
clothing from outdoor activities to urban fashion, office to bathing suits to evening wear and wedding gowns.

WATER – Also a regular feature in ECOFEST, the Tap-In presents the best tapdancers of New York with the George Gee Orchestra with guest artist Vicki
Nat Natale. Legendary performers Harold Cromer And Mabel Lee will host the New York "Tap-In," the show which presents hot new stars like Traci Mann's Young Hoofers, Andrew Nemr's CPB Andre Nemr's CPD group with a new touch of modern dance and hip-hop that gets everybody rocking. The exciting New Generation dance company from Argentina will expand the international flavor of Ecofest with explosive tango routines.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE – Panel discussions with noted environmental experts with Q&A. This year's panels will be on Green Living, Climate Change, Getting Rid of Foreign Oil: The Future of Solar and Renewable Energy and NY Times writer and author Andy Revkin will talk about global warming.
ECOFEST 2008 is presenting a special Health and Fitness Area where the public will be able to experience new alternatives in preserving our health
that is effective, user friendly and fun. Sponsored by the Chopra Center and Spa at Dream Hotel, the ultimate place where New Yorkers can find answers for all your questions, the Ecofest Health and Fitness Area will feature information about alternative health as well as free yoga classes by expert instructors..(In studio demo available)
