Two bodies were found shortly after yesterday's blast. The rest were removed early today. Three surviving smugglers came out of the tunnel on the Egyptian side and were arrested. The trio told police they were smuggling fuel.
Residents in one Gaza border town say the tunnel was blown up by the Egyptians amid a crackdown on smuggling. Egypt denies involvement, but acknowledges that the government has blown up two other tunnels this week.
Israel has been pressing Egypt to close the border tunnels so weapons can't reach Gaza militants.
