2 found slain in cars in Elizabeth

ELIZABETH, N.J. In the first homicide, the body of a Somerset County woman was found inside a burning car near Newark Liberty International Airport around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was identified as Tanya Worthy of Green Brook. Authorities did not say how she was killed.

The second victim was found around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday inside a car parked on Coakley Circle. He was identified as 26-year-old Christopher Rambert of Elizabeth. Police did not say how he was killed.

There have been 18 homicides in Union County so far this year.
