Boy, 3, left on a bus for six hours

Police arrested a school bus driver and a matron after a 3-year-old boy was left on the bus for more than six hours. The child was found on the bus shortly after 2:00 at P.S. 194 at 2365 Waterbury Avenue.

Police said the boy had been on the bus since the morning run. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Authorities arrested the driver, 25-year-old Terry Rocker of the Bronx, and the bus matron, 47-year-old Charlene Powell of Brooklyn on child endangerment charges.
